    Default Bucket's full

Of Crappie but wasn't me .I was late to spot did not arrive to 9;30 this a.m and caught the tail end of the bite. There were 4 men already there since 5'a.m this morning and they had 3 five gallons over flowing with nice crappie all big. The best bait was minnows are bait fish, they were netting 2 to 3 inch shad. I caught 6 nice ones and some nice Bass.
North Saulty was the area and the boaters were doing very good to but the live bait was the ticket.Go early are don't go lol.

The shad would do good in 5 gallon bucket but no to many at a time. Plenty of bait fish with then arm distance with a long pole or a net.

Sounds like somebody had a good day fishing. Doesn't sound like your day was horrible either.

That's a great place to fish from the bank or a boat. It does get crowded there and location does matter. Usually, tuffies work well vs shad under a lighted bobber in the early hours before sunrise.

Just like someone else mentioned, I have been there before when you could step from boat to boat from one side to another without getting wet, one would have to move to allow traffic to come through. I have caught a ton of crappie there. I have been fishing another place for a while to avoid the crowd but it is slowing down.
