Default Kayak Trip Report, Limestone Bay

Short trip to Limestone Bay today from 8AM till around 12, kept half a dozen but never really found the fish. The few that I caught were found in two to three feet of water on stumps.

    Alboy79,

Water was 55 degrees low and muddy. Beaverdam creek stays muddy and I think they dropped the lake enough to pull muddy water from there.

Thanks for the report Ditch. They may be out in that channel a little deeper. Late day in the sun on the stumps, you might have been there too early in the day.

    Bob D,

That was my thought but I didn't find them along the creek. I worked laydowns from the bank to the submerged ends in 12 to 15 feet of water. Fish were almost nonexistent on the fish finder as well. I know they were there, just never found them.

Depending on your graph, sometimes you can not see them in those conditions because they are soooooo tight on the cover.
