Default Tough Morning on Big G

Fished from 7:15 till 10:30 when rain ran us off. Caught 4 crappie ranging from 10 to 12 inches the first hour. Rest of morning was spent fighting off the white and yellow bass (dink stripes) attack that happened. If the crappie bite was as good as the stripe bite could have limited out in a few hours. At times my fishing partner and I had as many as 5 stripes on the lines at one time.

Slow trolling at about 3 feet off of bottom in anywhere from 12' to 20' using BG Monkey Milk and Bluegrass. Bite was very light. If you weren't holding the rod you wouldn't know you got a bite. Yea, it's probably a no go for fishing until last of week. Looks like maybe more rain next weekend too though.

Tough luck on loosing the poles especially after catching no crappie.
