Fished the Ditto Gravel pits today with Alexava . No fish for the first couple hours and none on the fish finder. I finally decide the fish must be hugging the bottom. Set my poles for about 12 inches off the bottom in 9 to 10 foot of water and start picking one up here and there. Most were short and the bite was so light that I missed several for each one that made it in the boat, but still left with half a limit. Best bait was a pink and pearl Bobby Garland on a 1/8oz jig head.

Not sure if I’ve ever found Crappie hugging the bottom before with the water so warm, surface was 59 when we started. All the fish were stuffed with shad when I cleaned them.
