Default Great day on the water

I went to a place on Guntersville near Scottsboro on Sunday the 16th and mopped up on the crappie. I think it was right place, right time, right weather pattern, pre weather change. I think everything lined up well for a good fishing day. I hear they are doing well in a lot of places on Guntersville. I think it is a matter of finding the fish. Once you find them I think you can catch several. I only kept one limit but caught way more than that. The fish were hitting jigs and minnows and color did not seem to matter much. I was using 1/24 and 1/16 along channel drop off from the grass.

Congrats on a good day. It really helps keep the excitement going for crappie to have a day like that once in a while.

i never really take pics. I do not even eat crappie. I turn them loose or give them to friends. Bob I hear another guy caught that many close to another place I fish. last time I idled through there I did see a big school on my graph in that exact spot. I love it when I get on them like that, it use to be a regular thing for me but not so much lately. I was using the same technique I used when we went last Bob

Man that sounds so good, I might have to leave the woods and hit the water.
