Could have been a lot better. Took a few over 12 inches on live minnows. Quit about midnight. Fished about 50 feet off of an island off the channel in about 12 feet of still water with trees, brush and weedline. Had "Crappie are here" written all over it. Was fishing about 5 feet. They are there, we just have to be a little more stealthy next time. I think we spooked them off initially. Going back there this Friday night and maybe stay out till about 2 AM or so and see if we can't knock em out. Water temp was 64-65 degrees. Supposed to be a lot cooler by the weekend. About 40 at night by Wednesday but water temp should still be holding.
Used a submersible green led light which did bring in the bait fish. Bait fish seem to be very plentiful right now and the activity just before dark is insane. I was able to net them around the submerged light really easy and put in the minnow bucket.
