    Default Back on Neely Henry

Went back to try Neely Henry again yesterday. I guess the weather changes have them slowed down. I fished from 6:30-1:30 and caught 12 crappie. I really had to work hard for those fish. I would go for long periods without a bite. I found water temps down to 81-82. A thunderstorm came up and ran me off the water. I think in a couple of weeks the water will cool off some more and the fish will start to bite better.

Good report. I went after the storm and did pretty good. Don't know if the rain got them going or what but we caught around 60 all released but lots of little ones probably 35 or so keepers. all on docks.

Lowe175, were you throwing those good looking jigs on your Avatar? How deep were the docks you were shooting?

lowe175 thanks for the shout back. I wish I could find some docks that deep on the Big G. Love to shoot docks just don't have a large number of them available that fit that bill. What weight were the jigs you were throwing? My time in the Army was phenominal! I still serve now in the capacity of Dept of Army Civilian here at Redstone Arsenal.
