Crappie and bait balls on the bridges?

Hey guys, I've heard that the balls of shad and bait are thick as all get out around the bridges on the Big G. I've been on the road this past month and just back and wanting to get on some fish. Anybody having any success jig fishing the bridges and these balls of bait? Day or night? Seems like this is about a month early.

Anyone still trolling cranks? I heard they sprayed the grass again and moved all the fish out of a couple of areas. David you usually have the skinny on that front, any word?

I have caught 6 to 8 fish around the bridges on each trip. I followed several huge schools of bait around but never caught anything around the bait schools.
