    Default Guntersville 5/24

Did some fishing at Siebold and across the river by some cabins mainly for bream but ended up catching three crappie in about 20 feet of water on creek channel using live crickets. Pulled in some catfish too, a couple of shellcrackers, and a ton of bluegill. Bass fisherman, and the pleasure boaters, just can't sit still so the water was very rough for a day with calm winds. Packed it up just after lunch. The white crappie had eggs in it.

Yeah the green carp boats can't stay still. It's hard to show off how fast your rig is sitting around fishing. If they would spend as much time fishing as they do running from one bank to the other they might get lucky and stumble in to that much coveted record fish. I just hate pleasure boaters and personal water craft.

I understand hating both. PWC's the most. I would like to see it made illegal to operate a PWC within 200 ft of any shoreline. With a minimum of a mandatory $50.00 fine. Yes I know that would keep the out of a lot of rivers. Oh well not a loss. They can go from the shore straight out and come straight in but no crusing shorelines.
