Water coming back down, but may have another little rise after tomorrow. Went today and worked hard to bring home ten 10 inch fish. Caught a lot of small ones, water muddy but fishable, but still needs to drop another foot.

Thinks for the information. I am now wondering how much the water will rises with all this rain. I am going to try it any way Sat. Can't catch anything staying at home.
If you are going Sat. anyway, you might want to get in on a crappie tournament out of Live Oak.

Went yesterday. Water is almost down to normal but still a little stained even in lakes. Had to fish hard to catch 27 (tried to get a limit, but they got lock jaw before I could catch the final three) that ranged from 10 to 12 inches. Caught about half of them trolling, when they stopped biting I moved to the bank with a beetle spin and caught the rest. Going back Monday, if the water stays down it should be some good fishing. The water temp. was about 65 in the morning and moved up to about 70 in the afternoon, but that won't last long with all this sunshine.
You have sunshine, what is that.
Nice fish by the way.
