Decided to take my dad today since we thought the rain was pretty much over at 10am. Well, we hit the water about 11 and its started raining from then til 2 pm. The good thing about it was the fish were biting. Started out with 1/16 oz jigs with curly tails and caught maybe 7-8 fish in 3-5 ft. They slowed down so i switched to 1/32 oz jigs with BG baby shad monkey milk and it was on. The bite was very light and had to watch my line twitch or get tight. Wound up with 31 slabs 10 to 14" in 3 hours of fishing in the rain. Me and my dad had a blast! Half were males and half females. Females still had some eggs. But not bulging out with eggs. So, i'm thinking they may be right in the middle of dropping them!
