Hearing mixed reports, I'd look on guntersville reports on alabama page some people have reported catching them in some areas others are saying it's the worst year they have ever seen.

Ron, fish are starting to show. Have not been on N Sauty in months, but it should be okay.
Fished the campground at Goosepond Saturday and didnt catch a single crappie, saw 1 small one caught is all
You may want to try after dark for better results. Too much traffic through the day.
Went in the evening and most of the bass tournaments were done with. Saw 3 bass fishermen and the rest were after crappie but just must not've been biting.
the campground area may be holding fish by this week. They are literally nowhere to be found one day and then they are there the next
Yeah, I figured they would be in there with 65° water temps
Caught 17 keepers Saturday. I caught maybe 50 or 60 but lot of small ones. Where we were, water temp was 62f main water was 58f. Was in about 3 ft of water. Don't know about North Sauty most of the time i fish South. Cub48
Thanks for all the replys, sounds like they are a little slow right now. Hope they come on. Might have to hit the bridge at S Sauty at night.... burrrr, that`ll be a cold one !!!
