Lake Eufaula
Visited Humminbird yesterday in Eufaula and had the pleasure of a short conversation with a couple of employees who fish the lake. I was interested in crappie and they reported the bite has been unreal for past few weeks. Talked to a fellow at the welcome station just south of town and he reported the same thing. Saw a good number boats in spots you see hwy 441. Had lunch just across the bridge on Georgia side. Man, what a buffet that was! Got to get back up there with my boat.

If it's anything like lunch I could not eat two meals a day there. Hostess told us all about th Fri and Sat seafood buffet too.

I tried the seafood buffet about 8 years ago, was not too impressed. May have just been a bad night. I do generally have bad luck with restaurants. There were a couple good restaurants on the AL side for catfish/seafood. Do not remember names, one was in eufaula, south end of town, the other was south of town, had a name like lighthouse I think. Just look for the full parking lots at night.
