Fried crappie, corn nuggets, hush puppies, homemade mac and cheese and zeas corn grits. If you have never tried the grits your missing something. Putting these grits with a piece of fish on your fork is unreal!

Lookin good. Would you mind sharing your hush puppies recipe? I haven't successfully made hush puppies when I fry fish, but i do love them.

I don't make them. I buy them in the frozen fish section of Walmart. Think they are pretty good, just make sure you let them thaw for thirty minutes before cooking and only takes about 2 1/2 minutes to cook.

search internet use the one that comes up called zeas grits on foodnetwork. Very basic. Has butter, heavy cream, water, salt and yellow corn grits. Had to get yellow corn grits at publix. Comes in a clear plastic bag. I BBQ two ears of corn for it, but not really necessary. Just boil 2 cups of water and 2 comes of heavy cream. Add one cup of grits and two sticks of butter and simmer until thickened then add corn if wanted. Butter will start to separate from grits as it sits so just stir before serving

I love a little crappie and grits at same time taste great.
