May be a dumb question---but was wondering if days are real windy can you troll at night in early spring with any success ?

I asked the same question last year with little response! I have some buddies that continue to troll into the evening if they're catching them by placing miniature glow sticks on their rod tips. Nights are always so much calmer with less traffic and wind it would be ideal. I don't know why it wouldn't work just haven't tried it myself. Hopefully someone else chimes in.

I've gone about 90 minutes before sunrise when the moon is pretty bright and only fish with 4 rods instead of 6 until it lightens up. Did real good, but the fish were biting good during the day as well so can't say that it let me catch more fish just because it was dark. I almost always go real early during full moon period but never stayed into the evening.
