Did zero on straight jigs at Johnson pasture,,wind got up at 9;30,,,tried spider shallow,,zero,,one dink at 13 ft,,broke one of my ht glass rods while hung on a snag,,called monk and ordered another,,,battery yesterday,rod today,,,,only one way to go,,up,,,gonna give the green big moufed carp in the pond a chance to turn thereselves in shortly
and they were on guard also,,3 pickups by the floridas,no hookups,,,must be the front,,much as I hate it may have to go th minnw route,,talked to monk re th rod an ordering another,,,he said a few warm days doesn't change the stuff happening downstairs,,,,oh well
Added 10 slabs to cooler this afternoon. Sixteen more and we will be at a hundred. Picked up spotlight for tomorrow.
Aight, fixin to call off the dogs again. Get redi for tomorrow. Gonna try to fill the cooler and call it quits.

Six more slabs and two bags of ice topped it off. 90 fish total most were slabs. Not bad for a jack leg and four teenagers.....
