Mepreach, you could show me send me your spots on GPS and I still probably couldn't catch anything.

This post has gave me some great ideas. I'm buying an iPad mount to mirror my 1198. Then I'm gonna slip a GPS puck on me preach, usafret, Feeley and a few of the other guys on here. Won't be long long now boys, ill be posting up some big fish and some big numbers. I'm back in the game with this idea. Amassing what funneling coffee will do to you.

I had the same thing happen to me on catfish1.com. I had been fishing a very good flathead hole for years and then one day a boat pulled and said my name and I didn't have a clue who it was. They told me they found me on the web site. Then they told all there buddies that I guess have no jobs and wasn't able to fish my favorite fishin hole anymore. They were posted up on it every time I went out. That was 5 years ago and might have got to fish it three times. Just got tired of putting in and going and seein somebody posted up all the time.

Thanks for the shout-out Castle. You've been helpful to me in the past as well. I do try and help folks as much as possible. I don't mind sharing some secrets. I wouldn't like it if it ended up the way it has at times for MePeach, though.

He's just trying to help. You get all this knowledge over the years and it's a shame if somebody and their kids can't use a little of our triumphs, but mainly help not make the mistakes we've made along the way. Mainly, it's the little things that seem to make a difference for me, keeping a journal and knowing the time frames the crappie move about, along with the water temps.

This year is a lot tougher because of the lack of vegetation, so a lot of the water lacks oxygen and you have to use the depth finder more, or just cover water. I mainly fish Guntersville, so that's really about the only place I throw in some comments, unless the thread is about equipment, lures, line, ect. I haven't been out as much lately, but hope to get out more this year.

I understand where you're coming from MePeach and I did not know it was like that for you at times. That is kind of sad because you always go out of your way to share information.

Now you know what I feel like when someone says, just follow the guides. All we can do is smile and keep fishing. I've hade as many as 4 trucks with boats waiting for me to pick up customers and follow me to the ramp. Come ride with me a day and you will see its not just every once in a while but every day. Thanks for the reports and keep them coming, Terry

the only time i get aggravated is when i work to put out brush and mark stumps(dont mark stumps as much anymore) people who sit on their ars all winter come out of nowhere to enjoy my work. then i will cut them off and not apologize for it. i actually had a person complaining about how the cane was placed in accordance to the stump. i mostly spider rig now but still love to single pole with minnows on marked stumps.

I'll fish something if I find fish. For starters once you dump it in the lake it's fair game (public place) so you can't complain about that in my opinion and how is someone suppose to know someone put out something anyway. I cant tell the difference between natural or manmade on my equipment. I've put some stuff out and plan to put more and would never expect I was the only one that would ever know where it is. Thats like dock owners expecting you not to go near their docks. You get that upset when someone fishing your structure or dock you need to go find a private lake.
