    Default mobile Area

Is there any good crappie fishing in the Mobile area and what about the ten saw river bay area. Or is there to much salt water there. Would it be better fish north of HWY65 on the mobile and ten saw rivers. Sorry about all the questions.

Yes there is a lot of crappie waters here. It is a lots different fishing here than it is in lakes farther north. You have to contend with the tide and high water, but most of the time after you figure those out the fishing is good. I do most of my fishing north of I-65, however there is good fishing south all the way to the causeway which is basically I-10. The delta is over 7 miles wide at the I-65 bridge and about 40 miles long, so lots of water to cover. If you come here, you will need a good map or GPS until you get familiar with the area. If you will look at it on Google earth you will see why. Launches are everywhere on both sides, about half are free and the others cost about $5.00. Hope this helps.
