Thanks, I believe you're right and have updated accordingly.

Well I'm going back so I'll post when I do and we can all go. Strength in numbers right? At least you have a better chance at not being the slowest boat anyway. I know those big lizards seem scary up here but down in Florida and Louisiana they have learned to respect them and they will respect you for the most part. Don't get me wrong I'm going to give them more than their fair share of room but I won't let the thought of a gator or two keep me out of a good fishing hole. Experiences may change my opinion but you know what they say "Experience is a dear teacher, fools learn by no other" - Ben Franklin
Updated the blog with some past experiences, at some point I'll check the image files for dates and try to make them more accurate.
So what's the biggest gator rumored to have been seen there?
Biggest i have seen pics of was 9and half feet by 2 of my co-workers that fish there a lot in a 10 ft john boat. They floated by it sunning itself on more than 1 occasion and said it wasnt quite as long as the boat so they called it 9 and half feet.
I'd also like to try the mouth of the Flint, anybody got any tips?
