Little bank fishing with the new BG blue ice slab doctors

I had a chance to sneak of to Honeycomb this morning after checking on my boat and fish the causeway. Well i had a pleasant peaceful productive day. Started about 10am thought i would be lazy and float some minnows as i watched the boats drift around in the distance. I saw a site proven that if you want to fish it doesnt matter what kind of boat you use. I watched 5 boats clumped together all floating minnows and in the middle was a yellow i think Mastercraft ski boat anchored with poles sticking out every where. Ok well the minnow bite wasnt there for me so i decided to walk the bank casting a new Bobby Garland blue ice slab doctor after about 30 min i found them slow rolling it over some grass and the thump was on LOL. I didnt catch any monsters most fish were 12 inches with a couple of 13 and 14 inchers mixed in. I stayed until i thought my bladder was gonna bust hard to wee wee on the causeway no place to hide! LOL I left about 145pm with 20 in the basket caught 28 with 3 still swimming with my jigs in their mouth as my line would break trying to lift them up on the rocks i guess its time for some new mono lol. I will pick my boat up in the morning with mixed emotions after a month in the shop and finding more problems with my ole Force than i expected i purchased another 40 horse Force a year older for a 1000. Happy that i will get to try her out sometime in the morning not happy having to part with that much money LOL.
