Help for my cousin fishing Weiss

My cousin wants to try crappie fishing at Weiss for the next several days before being deployed, he will spend the next few years in the Middle East and I want to see if anyone over there could help him.

He will fish from the bank as he has no boat.

Any suggestions for him fishing the west end of the lake?

If if I was fishing from the bank I would go to dead end bridge and fish. They were catching some good crappie from there over the last few days. The pier at pruitts is also producing a few. I hope this helps. That is the only reports I have heard from the bank.
