Default Lost Crappie With The Power Out

Like others, i'm thankful to be safe but I sure hate that I lost my crappie when the power went out! USAA compensated me for my lost but I told the adjuster "I can't go buy those crappie out the fish market, they were invaluable!"

Cooked all I had for our community the Thursday after the storms. Hated to see them go, but did not want to see them go to waste. Freezer is empty and ready to be filled with more now. Good excuse to go fishing...

Men, I fried crappie for almost 2 hours straight 2 days after the storm, about 40 people ate, about every 5 minutes a new batch come out and it did not last, I lot of people were asking were you buy them, I just smile and say you can't buy them, but I could teach you for a day and hopefully you can feed the many later!!!!

That's not good to loose your fish. Atleast theyre still biting and you can get some more.

I didn't lose any crappie, b/c I can't find the little bastards. However, I did lose a lot of deer meat. The important thing, as you stated, we still have our lives and hopefully your homes. A lot of people can't say that and my heart goes out to them.........
We do not inherit the land and waters from our forefathers, but we borrow it from our future children.

Many go fishing all their lives without knowing it isn't fish they are after
