I just want to offer my regret that Auburn couldn't pull it off. I felt confident that there was one more miracle play at the buzzer. I guess they used up all nine lives and famous Jameis was just too much. Since they got lucky and beet Bama the only team that could have beaten Florida State it was inevitable that the title would go south. I wish the state of Alabama could have gotten the trophy again. Even if it had to be Auburn.

strmwalker, we could have beat Oklahoma, but we did not. Yes we got embarrassed but the game was closer than the score and one of the best players on Bama's team sat the whole game on the bench and the beast who was carving Oklahoma up barely played much. I do not think Auburn was just simply lucky to beat Bama either though, yes Bama made bad calls in that game and cost themselves, but Auburn took advantage of it and won, not by luck really but by preparation. Bama could have won both of those games and Auburn could have beaten FSU, but bottom line is neither happened and it is what it is. I think Auburn proved FSU was not as great a team as so many people were claiming before the game. They got whipped everywhere but the score, but that is what matters.

I think a lot of teams could have beat FSU last night. Auburn played a medocrer game and should have knocked em out in the first half. Should have been a 3 TD lead at half. The fake punt b4 halftime and a holding call on Auburn on the first drive of the second half were the turning points n the game. And man that was a bad holding call on 3rd & 8. Would have been first down and a possible knock out blow. But bottom line Auburn didn't make enough plays an we got beat. But from what I saw FSU was the 3rd or 4th best team we've played this year. Bama LSU Ga. Were better than FSU in my opinion. Proud of Auburn for over achieving all year! Fun team to watch. War Eagle
