LSU played an outstanding game for the first half and if it had not been for a few breaks for Bama they might have easily gotten the momentum and put us in a different game plan the second have which might not have been good. We were able to run the ball the second half and wear them down and our defense was swarming. Make no mistakes though LSU was better than the score and Auburn poses a big threat to my Tide. Roll on Bama

Crappie, I guess you are thinking they looked good in the first half, because they looked so bad in the second. But they had 2 fumble and were behind 17-14 at half. They lost that half also.

dpisani, we forced a fumble at the 1 yard line. It was a great play, but if that had not happened we go down 7 nothing. Then they had a miscue and we got the fumble on the snap and scored. They could have easily went up 14 to nothing. It would have changed everything. I am not looking too far through my crimson color glasses to realize that one or two plays could not have changed the whole game. The second half we smoked them, but that was because we were still where we could run the ball and pound them and not have to come out throwing to catch up. Sometimes the final score does not indicate how a game really was. Yes we put it on them in the end but it could have easily went the other way. Roll Tide

Crappie, I think Copeland is big enough to have just bulled over the guy and held on, that's why I thought it was bad play. Also 3/4 into the season and they don't know when to snap. I guess I will throw away my purple and gold glasses. lol. I agree take away those 2 plays it would have been different. But they happened. Also, clear up a question for me. I thought on the snap miscue LSU was called for offsides. Doesn't that normally stop the play when the offense jumps? I will be pulling for Bama for the rest of the games including hopefully the national championship. Danny
