After I graduated college I kept my insurance in Mississippi with Farm Bureau and just paind my dad for the 6 month term. Well now that I am settled here in Alabama, and my 6 month coverage is up next month Im looking for some insurance. I have my boat covered with Progressive but they seem to high on the online quote for my truck. Everywhere Im looking is quoting me 500-600 bucks every 6 months for just my truck. Here is my info:

2004 Chevy K1500 Silv
no speeding tickets, wrecks etc... in last 4-5 years
No DUI ever

I would eventually like to get my boat and truck under same company but I dont have to if I can find cheap price for each at diff company. Do these quotes seem high to you all? Like I said Ive never shopped insurance before this is the first time.

Any suggestions on which company here in Alabama etc....?
