Finebaum just repeated something the USA Today chick said yesterday, that being that she had talked to folks high up in the NCAA and felt that cecil's appearance / slap in the face of the NCAA could alter the investigation. In other words lighting a fire under the NCAA and strengthening their resolve to investigate the matter.

These people entering plea bargains with the FBI who have been indicted in the Alabama Gambling case is what's going to put the icing on the cake. The FBI has over 200,000 pages of evidence, not including phone taps, intercepted cell phones, surveillence video, and witnesses.
All 11 indicted in the gambling case are auburn boosters and some former trustees. Then you have the FBI investigation of Coloninal Banks foreclosure, where Lowder, Dye ,and Jimmy Rane have been indicted. Also Gilley has been charged with trying to brieb Massey to keep his mouth shut, so that's 3 investigations.
Next you will see Auburn University investigated and charged with tax evasion and tax fraud so that will be 4 investigations that are all tied to Auburn.
Who connected with Auburn is not under investigation?

I'll tell ya what Fish, I see that you have alot of time on your hands during the week to look on these different sites and gather this bamer propagander ( which most, not all, but most of it is )and you are so sure that Auburn will lose their trophy and wins this year. I'll tell ya what I'm gonna do, I'm gonna put my War Eagle where my mouth is and make a bet with you and anyone else that wants to get in on it.If Auburn looses their trophy and/or has to give up any wins this 2010 football season I will say Roll Tide on every post that I make for one fiscal year after the date this incident has happened, with no bad taste remarks following it. If you loose the bet and Auburn does not give up the trophy,and/or any wins this 2010 season then you have to say War Eagle on every post that you make for one fiscal year after the date we have agreed on with out any bad remarks against Auburn.I'll let you make the deadline date as long as it is thiesable.
