I wear boots a lot the past several years fishing from the bank. I got tired of wet feet from walking through the wet dew laden grass before I even start fishing and knee high boots will get me away from the bank a little giving me more room to cast. Wouldn't have caught my PB bass without them. They never leave the truck.

Thank you for the wide grin early in the morning. Brings back a few memories of gittin' into situations one would rather not be in for sure. At least your shoe was retrievable, and not so muddy inside till your muddy sock went in it. Take care my friend, enjoyed your follies.

shoes got dry yesterday after they went in the shoe wash , wife mentioned not to visit that spot anymore , since they were not fun to clean up , of course I visited that spot AGAIN ,about 24 hours after she said don't you do it ...

I used to carry my Lacrosse burly classics all over the place , best knee high non insulated rubber boot ever made , mine been 100 miles off baja on a tuna sport trip , they been on Kodiak island running from bears and about a zillion other spots as well , I use them as snake boots , I use them as waders , I use them in deep sand , and they really work great for that moment in time where you are doing serious "wet work " too ....rinse em right off and keep on trucking
