    Default Bought another boat finally.

Sold my 18ft pontoon 2-3 yrs ago that I spent a ton of money on decking it out, but all my fishing buddies work/lives starting making it to where they couldnt fish and it was a pain to launch by myself so I sold it.
Been wanting another small 14-16 ft v bottom and finally found a bare 14 ft Alumacraft V bottom with a 2018 9.9 Suziki 4 stroke with less then 35 hrs on it.
Need to move the bunk boards around on trailer/put guide bunks on it, already put new tires/bearing buddies plus a few other little things.
Need to get a couple good seats(thinking maybe millineums with cable kit) a decent fishfinder life vests etc. Ordered a MinnKota Powerdrive 55# 54 in shaft w/micro remote and the Advanced GPS should be here Tues as its already at UPS hub that delivers to my house.
Hopefully will be ready to go fall Crappie fishing and be able to make a few fishing reports. Miss being out on the lake, dont miss the nuts on the lake but miss Crappie fishing.

Welcome back to the addiction. Glad you found something that fits your needs. We are still making good use of those 2 big boxes of crankbaits we bought. Since I retired, I rarely go out on the lakes on the weekends. Good luck finishing all the mods.

Depending on how you fish, if you pair that trolling motor with a Humminbird fishfinder and have a good map, you will like having Advanced GPS.
If I'm not at work or taking kids to their activities, you might find me on "The Rez" fishing. If not there, I could be in the garage working on my boat.

I'm glad to hear you will be back on water soon. Wish I would have known you were looking for trolling motor. I'm seriously thinking about upgrading to all Garmin. I have a powerdrive now I could have made you a deal on. Maybe I will see you on the water at Raccoon this fall.

Hopefully will see you out there. I probably should of put a want to buy ad. I dont fish weekends, back when I sold my pontoon it was as bad during the week as the weekends due to Covid and everyone buying new boats. Not sure what its like now.Did your powerdrive have spotlock/gps?

Yes, mine has all that with built-in sonar. I went last Sunday & was off the lake by noon. It was starting to get crazy. I prolly won't go back until after Labor Day now. It will settle back down when after that.

Well more then likely I would of bought it then, oh well the new one will be here Tues.
I may take boat to lake after I get the bunks and bunk guides installed to make sure everything is as it should be, but it will be during the week.
