Drink from the cup and just refill it from the jug throughout the day.

Sometimes if I'm feeling fancy I'll bring the little gatorade powder packets with me and add those to the cup.
I do something very similar. I have a half gallon Stanley thermos and fill it with Gatorade, using powder mix. I also have a Contigo 20 oz, filled with ice and refill it with the Gatorade throughout my fishing day. If it's really hot out, I keep the Contigo in my Igloo Playmate, out of the sun. I've never come home without ice leftover in the Contigo.
