    sure did find me a mix of big sunfish the other day .....
    really surprised me at how hard they battled with me .....
    and they were my my my beautiful specimens, just saying
    sunfish pushing the 1 lb mark are really good stuff for sure ....
    if you can "lip" a bluegill , you got a big one in hand ....

    Sounds like a blast! Gotta love when those slabs put up a fight way bigger than their size. What were you using for bait? I’ve been hoping to hook into some bull bluegills myself—nothing better than a chunky one that hits like a bass!

    Great looking fish. That gill is a hammer, been too years since I caught one that big. Looks like one of my jigs still are catching for you.
