    If they all have 3 steps on them, why isn't the 2nd step put on the opposite side? Just thinking out loud, lol. To my thinking, it would make it safer to go up.

    They have different models. I believe they are 2, 3, or 4 step.

    It would make for better balance, for the person using them. I worked 30 years, for Werner Ladders, so guess it makes me see the safety aspect, of using them.

    My steps have a support brace on 2nd step or else I guess it could be turned to inside. I see your point, but any steps are better than none!

    Snubby, how wide are those steps? They look wider, than the other ones. That would be better for a person's balance.

    I tell ya what, I'm "only" 39 and thinking about adding these too. Just a lot easier/safer getting up and down. Hope you enjoy them, good luck this year in the new boat!
