    Default One of them day's

Not sure I'll be posting for a couple days...Our hearts in this house is very low right now. It's with a very heavy heart and eyes full of tears I write this. Our little darling Leila passed this afternoon at 2:20PM. She had a major seizer last night, and after it was constant vomiting. She was our long hair Chihuahua we got at 66 rescue in Ozark, Missouri About eight years ago...I'll be back is all I can say.

Condolences on your loss. They become such a part of our families it's tough when they leave us. Sounds like she lived her best life the last 6 yrs out of the rescue...

We can only hope. She was about 21 y/o. We hope she felt we gave her the best years. We certainly gave our best. Her and her two sisters, Sugar who we got at the same time, and the baby girl 'Bama. The Latter one Bama was abandoned at a Loves Fuel Stop in Alabama. Wasn't bigger than a split minute. One could hold her in the palm of your hand. A lady trucker friend of ours picked her up, went in to the fuel desk, to inquire about the pup. They told her they watched the lady abandon her there and drive off in a red sedan. Well she brought the pup to Miss Joyce...she's now 3yrs old and sugar is almost 9yrs old. I have some pic's in my phone I'll get up here.

So sorry. I loss my favorite chi Tuie 2.5 years ago. She had a stroke and was 1 month shy of 5. I still miss her everyday. I sit and look at her pics sometimes. I know y'all may think I'm crazy, but today I was telling my 2 year old chi Jolie how much I love her and how she helps my pain of the loss of Tuie. They don't just become family, they become a piece of your heart.

Sorry for your loss, the are definitely part of the family and it hurts so much when they leave us. Good time for Rainbow Bridge once again.

    RAINBOW BRIDGE

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and
    comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor. Those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent. His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

Yes, I was talking to myself; sometimes even I have to ask for expert advice.
