    Default Been hammering them again

Trash jigs hammered over 70 Crappie this morning . Kept a limit over 13''. I remember years ago fishermen saying I use too big of jigs. Well look what they are eating and you tell me . This trash jig 1/4 oz ,about 2.5'' long and white Walmart sack ripped them in muddy water. The jig is next to a 7'' Shad I took out of one.

Hammered them couple days ago on same pattern also! Caught them on same jig and had a limit of 13 to 15'' Crappie. Released lots more that morning too as I caught over 60.

Nice catch, amazing the size of baits a crappie can eat. That shad is almost as big as my hand.

Thanks for posting the picture of the baitfish tail showing. I like bigger shiners to cull the shorts.
