Morning all! Hope y’all have a great day. Do any of you use speed clips? I was thinking about getting some but thought I better ask around. My main concern is do they change the action of small baits?

I have thought about the ones used in fly fishing, they should actually improve the action of the jig. I haven't because it is easy tie or just change the skirt and the last inch of the line takes a beating and needs retied often.

I have some and have used them. Sorta hard to change jig heads with them, but they give freedom of movement like a loop knot.

These work well for me while I’m long line trolling. I do prefer loop knots when jigging.

Are these from Amazon? What’s the brand name? If you don’t mind.

Used to use that clip from picture, the only problem I found is a bit harder to change jig head. Really depends on hook size i recommend a little bit bigger size for hook size #4 and up. From Picture I use smallest size 5mm.
