Default Sweets, Sweets, & More Sweets

Someone has to knock the Thai Fish Soup off the top so I have something maybe a little more appetizing to post. Been a little busy in the Kitchen, Key Lime Pie - Heavenly Hash, & Pecan Pralines. If you need to gain weight these 3 will certainly help you. Nailed the pie, mile high meringue!

Those look delicious. Haven't had heavenly hash but pecan pralines would be my doom. Key Lime pie would be my wife's.

Those look amazing! My Granny, who passed on many moons ago, used to always do a Chocolate or Lemon meringue and a Coconut Meringue for the holidays. I was thinking about these earlier today. May have to see if I can make Granny proud for Christmas as I have her recipe!

My mothers people in the Brundidge Al. area always made Chocolate Meringue pies with a hand made crust. Super flaky, full of the richest Chocolate filling, and a Mile High Meringue, I have not had a pie like that since I was a teen. Coconut is one of my favorites, lemon too, I feel your pain on missing pies like that.

That pie is absolutely beautiful! My mouth is watering for a slice of that. My sister makes chocolate pies with the big fluffy meringue for us every thanksgiving and Christmas. Delicious indeed!

I'll see if I can find them tonight and get you a copy Danny! I think I just have one of them but everything except the filling should be the same.
