The stuff that fits together like a puzzle. Well I cut a bunch of the sheets in half and have the piece stuck everywhere. I even keep a piece in my bass boat on Ross Barnett for kneeling down low to stick my jig pole under low limbs & stuff. One piece is in the Fishin' Expedition just for changing flat tires.
That stuff is great, even to lay on if you need to check something out under the truck.

    Sorry for the hijack Bucky.

So when I wrote about the absence of pain I was reminiscing about +/- 25 years ago. FF to today my body is in some form of pain round the clock. I have a good care team at the VA who are working on solutions with each visit. I see a pain management specialist who has been prescribing a low dosage Sch 4 “narcotic to help. I also take an anti inflammatory medication twice daily.

I also stretch my hip flexor muscles and legs daily and my bride rolls my leg muscles daily. I’m fighting an ITB band that is catching on my hip/pelvis and therapy is trying to work that out.

biggest thing is just lifestyle mods like knowing when I’ve had enough, adjusting how I climb things, go up and down stairs, sleep etc. I too use EVA foam mats like mentioned by Rojo. Many things I could do with ease I either do t do anymore or take me longer to complete.

i was just daydreaming when I wrote the quote about no pain

I always use something to kneel on, or lay on. Try not to take too many pills but if I know it's gonna be a rough day will take a few pain pills

Good thing cannibals aren't around then. Most diplomatic way I have ever heard it said. Well done.

Not a thought, it’s a fact. Treestand Safety Harnesses and lifelines are priceless. LSS…I have been hunting two big bucks relentlessly and this past Weds it rained hard. The clay was slick on my boots. On the way up my climbing sticks my foot slipped and I slammed the step with. Y sternum and abdomen. The Hunters Safety System vest and line did their jobs. I have a nasty bruise and cut on my abdomen but I’m still climbing! Wear your safety gear…

Glad you were wearing your vest and wasn’t hurt any worse. Wishing you a speedy recovery.
