    Nice fish Marty! Buddy is finally starting to show his age a little, glad he still gets out with you! $10 for a launch sounds like they don't want you to launch there anymore! Thanks for sharing!

    Brings back memories! I used to fish Old River while at LSU. It was always a puzzle! Sometimes fantastic, sometimes awful, but most of the time I just caught a few. I remember one trip in the spring, we went southwest along the levee looking for spawning crappie, didn’t find any, but found spawning gar and carp. Huge carp!! I happened to have my bow on board. Had an absolute blast catching them! We gave them to some locals. They thought they won the lottery!!
