    I might have to give that a try next time if they are still being difficult. I've never trolled for crappie before.

    I rarely have my electronics on except 2D Sonar. I didn't do as good as you but but a good mess in the cooler casting with the Varivas 5.6# braid again. Smoked shiner's performance by a mile. That Varivas braid cast so far I was catching more because covering so much water. The area I fished was another beat up by the last hurricane. I will post a picture before cleaning tomorrow.
    Good Job on the old school fishing! I tell people all the time to stop screen watching and fish.
