    Default Graywolf custom rods

    Anybody heard of them ?
I knew he was building some fiberglass flyrods , but I just found out he’s building some fiberglass spinning and BFS casting rods .
I’m interested in the 4’11” model , in white .
I watched a couple of videos and the rods look to be parabolic.
I think he’s building his own blanks and his website says he uses quality Japanese grips and handles.
I think he builds a beautiful rod .
Father’s Day is coming up and I have a birthday around the same time, I may have to check one out .
Hope he doesn’t mind me sharing one of his photos.

Very pretty rod. I’m sure it’s way out of my price range.

I'm in almost the same boat as Buckeye, only I surly do believe the Doc would be pluggin holes. Mom said my new to me inflatable pontoon was my Pop's Day present...I don't need to plug holes in it or me...Just sayin'...

I was hoping somebody had one and could provide some more info on the rod .

That particular rod is $189 + $25 shipping.
the rod tube and sock is another $45 . $259 total
I’m sure it’s worth it , but I’d be afraid I didn’t like the rods action and it wouldn’t get used .
Looked pretty whippy in the video I watched .

I paid more than that for a 7’ 3wt. Diamondback fiberglass flyrod, because I read how great they were , and didn’t like the way it felt . Now it sits in a corner. Right next to my Iprimi xxul .
Think I’ll stick with my Major Craft Finetail glass .

Yes, probably not worth the risk not to like it. Beautiful handle.
