I hope to post many videos of fishing these spoons for trout, and probably some bluegill. My journey with spoons was started when I wanted to fish for trout at Normandy when the water was flowing faster than the 150 CFS. That number and below allowed me to catch tons of trout on a Trout Magnet. But once it hit over 200 CFS a Trout Magnet was pretty useless. I got to reading about spoons for trout and how to fish them. Ordered some spoons from Chris at Finesse Fishing. After losing 4 spoons on my first day I decided to get some cheap spoons off amazon and use until I learned what I was doing. Once I learned how to fish them and keep them off the bottom in current it was game on. I have used spoons out here quite a bit last year on the Little Red but did not make very many videos about it. They will almost catch as many trout as a Trout Magnet. But the reason I enjoy fishing for trout with them is you’re always on a tight line and the hit they give you is an adrenaline rush. Plus you can fish waters where a Trout Magnet just will not work. Hoping to get my boat back from shop soon and get fishing.
