Default A little tying in the early AM

One of the little times I had while Ms Joyce was able to rest, I tied this one up. Honest opinions, what do you think??? What would you change. Thanks. First two are dry, just tied. Rest are after it's wet. 1/16oz Eagle Claw tube jig from Wally World. Hook size unknown but it's a regular type jig hook.

That looks really good Eric. Don’t think I’d change anything on them. I would go get them in front of some fish though asap.

They will be getting wet, but may have to wait a bit longer, as I can't leave Ms Joyce here alone till she can atleast walk with just a cane. How long that will be Donno???? May have to have a stand-in try them out and evaluate them for me...

Only thing they need is a fish's lips attached to them. You have nailed that style my friend!

ksnouf, sorry for the delay answering. The material I used is a 1/16 oz tube jig White semperfli 6/0 waxed thread, Hareline Marabou blood quills for the tail, then Ice dub pearl red hue , then topped off with some Arizona semi seal dubbing in gray/olive for the back. Eyes are made from punching out some Holographic Vinyl in blue made for Cricket machines, a dab of black acrylic paint for pupils, then coated with UV resin for the 3-D effect. Held on jig head with Sally Hansen's hard as nails and then the whole head of jig covered with UV resin and set. Hope this is what you were asking for. I used the dubbing loop method instead of splitting the thread as I couldn't see well enough the get my needle bodkin into the thread. on the semi seal it is laid over so it's divided, half over rhe back, and half past the front of the jig. A couple loose wraps, then the front folded over and wrapped in. The belly is done the same way, only with the Ice Pearl material used in the dubbing loop. You can see it made on you tube by Mustache jigs and flies. I give him all the credit. He has several of these type jigs in some of his different videos.
