Thread: Prayer Request - Open Heart 10/19

Hey everybody, thank you so much for the prayers!! I was transferred from the ICU to a normal room today. The pulmonary valve replacement looks to have been successful but am waiting on consultation with cardiologist tomorrow. Ended up going with Pig valve (oink oink).

I’m pretty tired and beat up, but looks like I’m going to be okay. God was watching over me and I sincerely thank all for the prayers. This open heart surgery went much smoother and I have not experienced any complications to date. Glory be to God! When I’m feeling up to it will be back on to communicate with everyone. Probably be 10 weeks until I can fish again. Please pray God will bless me with longevity of this valve so I don’t have to go through this again! You guys are the best. Means the world to me to have y’all praying for me.

Continued prayers for a speedy recovery and healing.
Take care and take it easy the next 10 weeks.
Had mine opened up a couple of times 14 years ago.

Great to hear you are doing well. Prayers for continued recovery, as well as praying for good news tomorrow from the cardiologist. Take it easy and don't overexert yourself. The fish will be there to catch when your able to go....Thanking the Lord for your successful surgery. We will continue to Pray for your continued recovery and strength.
