Caney Lake
Well made my 1st ever trip up to Caney Lake this weekend with Deacon and his brother and group of friends. Fishing has been SLOW! Did manage to catch a SINGLE 12" Crappie! Caught a nice cat (5-6lbs) while dock shooting in about a foot of water. Managed 9 decent bream for Thursday and Friday and caught 3 more nice bream today. Caught a ton of these little beautiful pumpkin seed bream.Attachment 457097Attachment 457098

That lake sure looks like it would be loaded with crappie. I bass fished it years ago. Caught a few, but it looked like it had potential.
