Thread: Last minute meal

Headed out to LSL to check on our place and to put new stickers on the toon. Plus hook up w captaincrappie for a lil fishing. Tom lives by the lake and is on it almost every day. He was ketchn a fine 15 crappie night before in a short time so I was optimistic.

Then reality struck and we hit couple places with only 1 bg. Then we went to our favorite place and he got there ahead of me and had 4 good ones in bucket. It was slow and they were not in usual places so we kept hunting. I finally went out deep and had a 8 inch but threw it back.

Tom kept picking one here and there but after an hour or so I was ready to stretch out and play lizard and soak up sun. Did for bit and then went over to his side to say bye when he suddenly got one, then another, then several more fairly close in.

So of course i had to toss in and hooked a fat one, 5hen another. Ended up with 5 enough for FRESH dinner.
