    Erin,,,,That looks like one of Donnie’s old builds,,,he got me hooked on those gnats for the longest time,,,I sure liked they fish I caught as well with them,,,,

    Yes sir it’s a lot like his… mr Donnie was often replicated but never duplicated haha I do some gnats too for trolling

    As stated before, yes they work very well, whether you use multiple strands, or a couple or even just one . Give them a try...

    For guys who are wondering what gnats are exactly,,,,,,,here’s Donnie’s gnats on left with the rubber legs,,,mine are on thr right with just flash…they are basically just a crappie jig without the lead head …..very dangerous crappie weapon tipped with either a minnow or crappie bites.

    Yes I use them all the time. The tighter you tie the legs the more they’ll flare out so be careful.

    Okay I have not tied any jigs with just silicone tails in awhile. Your post and pictures have inspired me whip out the vice. Thanks for the push.
