Stren original clear blue for mono(4-8 lb .) but Berkley Vanish is my go to fluorocarbon 8 lb. test for crappie .

I've tried some coated line and think it's still on one reel. I don't think I'm a fan. Think I'd rather just have mono or 100% fluorocarbon.![]()

If you’re going to be casting light jigs and want to use FC line I highly suggest you get some Varivas Blue Moon FC line. It is a fantastic FC line…..excellent manageability…great knot strength.
