Had a good time . The bite was fair. Not burning em down but enough to keep you awake. Bite was very light . Had to watch the line close. Lot of small crappie. It’s summer idiot time on Wylie. Even at night they don’t respect fishermen. But we go when we can.

Yeah! Henry and David were keeping me busy with the hook removing end of fishing. David and Henry caught around 40 or so crappie with only 9 or 10 being keepers. Lots of throw backs with sore mouths from Henry snatching his rod after he set the hook. He should be a great ocean fisherman. Almost ready for another night out!

Almost forgot! 3 catfish with one about 5 pounds, 4 perch no size to worry about and 9 or 10 keeper crappie plus a crap load of small next year crappies thrown back. Kids had a great time!

Each person is allowed a limit but you best keep them seperated.

You can have each person a limit, and yes separate is always the rule. I saw once on a public dove hunt a fellow getting the screw job because he had his and his kid's doves in the same bucket. DNR was asking which dove was who's! Dumb to me that he had to try to explain the limit plus a couple over. I don't take my grandkids to public fields if they want to hunt doves. I know everyone can't afford to take them somewhere else privately. Only place I worry about is High Rock with no limit on crappie and traveling back into SC.
