Default A few good ones from today...

Finding beds everywhere on sideVu and Livescope perspective - but the fish aren't bedding. Hmmm. I managed to find a few nice ones anyway by riding around and fishing hard. Caught about 2 dozen today, with about half being absolute hawgs. I didn't weigh any, but one redear bull was nearly 12 inches, and popping fat. I was using the Abu G Eradicator RF slow taper special 6'7" SUL rod, 3lb test Varivas twitch master, using red wigglers on a 1/32 oz #6 sickle hook jig, mostly, and a few on trout magnet. I find by using the jigs I never gut-hook fish when using worms. I hook the trees a lot, so I use the cheap sickle hook jigs instead of the JDM Daiwa gek-jigs (I am sad when I lose one of those). I'll be fishing this lake every day if I can this month. The female shellcrackers all were fat with eggs still in them. All fish released. Water temp 74.5F.

Great looking fish, seems like many reports of beds but no fish or just no beds yet. Water temperatures seem to be in the correct range, what could they be waiting on?

Beautiful fish! I know that was fun on that rod. Still no major bedding going on here.
