    Ah, Eric. Glad to hear you are home and recovering! Hopefully the Docs got everything done that they had todo and you’re on your way to recovery. As everyone said, follow the docs (and your wife’s) instructions.

    Well technically, I don't have to lay down, but lean forward face down. To fix the hole in the macula, the Dr had to remove the fluid in the eye, inflate it with some gas/air, do the repair, then refill with saline solution. Gas/air gets trapped and will eventually work its way out. So in the mean time, it's head down till it works it's way out. Usually about 5-7 days time.
