I played at using Bonnie cord, and still have some hanks that I combed out. I just didn't have a lot of luck fighting the braid loose. Yours look really nice. I was given 3 such jigs. All 3 were what I believe was either some fiber like Bonnie cord or it was combed Bonnie cord.
The guy lived in Texas, from the shipping tag of the little Super AA vise (made in India) I bought from him. He included the 3 jigs.
